Priority Injury Service

If you have been injured and need immediate support, our Priority Injury Service is here for you. We understand the importance of getting your injury treated quickly, so we aim to provide timely care and appropriate immobilisation (usually on the same day as your injury).

At Hands UP Rehab, we specialise in treating recent finger, thumb, hand, wrist and elbow injuries, offering services such as:

• Fracture splinting and management

• Waterproof casts

• Soft-tissue sprain and strain splinting and management

• Sports injuries (e.g. ball vs finger injuries)

• DIY injuries (work or home)

• Wound care

• Pain management

 

During your visit we will assess your injury and discuss your personalised treatment plan. You will likely require a custom splint, which typically takes 30 minutes to fabricate on site. After your initial visit, a follow-up appointment will be arranged to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. We will work closely with your GP/surgeon/sports club/workplace/school to ensure comprehensive, tailored care throughout your rehabilitation.

Cost: $179

Our Priority Injury Service includes an initial consultation with an accredited hand therapist, which may take place outside of our normal operating hours.
